After The Fire! The next Granier Falls Novel

Yep, a little novella number I did for one of their collection calls. The “it’s off the HAWT scale” for me? It’s a F/M/F. Your eyes aren’t seeng double. I told you it was for a call. I’m not sure when this will be released but I’ll keep you up on it. The collection is suppose to be a total of four stories I believe, so DeRicci will be in another antho. Yay me!

Watching Her Every Move

Agent Jonas Dreyer has been working night and day to intercept valuable memory chips before they are delivered into the wrong hands. A happily confirmed bachelor with good reason, he never expects for the woman who is struck by his suspect in a wild foot chase to be the one, his mate.

Excerpt:

Stacee squealed, hit for the second time by the solid body of a guy like she was interviewing for the tackling dummy position of an entire football squad.

“This has got to stop,” she muttered, disregarding the fact that she was hiding in his shoulder, shaking. His hand and body cradled and covered her with his protective breadth as the last of the window fragments settled around the pair on the floor.

“Which part? The bullets or the drama?”

She chuckled into his shoulder. Damn, she liked his humor. “Getting laid out like a pancake. It’s hard on a girl’s body.”

He made a sound of admiration. He held her close, one palm wrapped around her head to protect her from falling glass, his other on her hip as he covered her entire body with his length. He flexed his hand on her hip and she couldn’t help but feel every single movement. Searing heat pressed against her possessively now that she had enough air in her lungs to feel his body. The hard wall of his chest covered her completely and she couldn’t help but notice just how solid that wall was against her. His weight pressed into her, forming against her. The tender sensation of his hand against her scalp belied the strength she felt everywhere else. A wild flutter hit her stomach and sank lower as her nerves reported back every little detail about his body against hers.

“Depends on who the girl is, in my mind,” he replied against the shell of her ear in a low growl that was anything but professional. His breath bathed her nerves with a zinging shock as he whispered those slow words into her ear. The rumbled sensual depth of it made her blood run hot. That flutter intensified into its own earthquake and a shiver rocketed down her length. Her heart jumped and tripped for a completely different reason than being shot at. She could feel every inch of his tensed length and even in the most inappropriate of moments, it was hard not to take notice. Where he lay above her, the hard outline of his cock was pressed deliciously against her thigh. She felt herself begin to smolder with desire.

“Don’t move,” he warned her, his voice neutral again. Thankfully popping her lust-filled bubble. She had to be out of her mind to be thinking about him like that at a time like this!

Well if that wasn’t the fastest story ever written, I’d be shocked. 11634, yesterday, then another 4825 today for a total of 16139. A short nasty little erotic story that wouldn’t let me sleep until I got it done!

I don’t know who I’ll sub it to, not worried about that at the moment, but it’s done, I can sleep!! Yay!!! I’ll let it rest then clean it up in a few days.

It has been misreported that the issue was limited to Gay & Lesbian themed titles – in fact, it impacted 57,310 books in a number of broad categories such as Health, Mind & Body, Reproductive & Sexual Medicine, and Erotica. This problem impacted books not just in the United States but globally. It affected not just sales rank but also had the effect of removing the books from Amazon’s main product search.

Many books have now been fixed and we’re in the process of fixing the remainder as quickly as possible, and we intend to implement new measures to make this kind of accident less likely to occur in the future.

SERIOUSLY??? This is the BEST your high dollar PR firms can come up with? A cataloging error? That began well over a month ago according to reports by Mark Probst and others?

Look, I realize you’re AMAZON. You’re the Cyber Bill Gates. I GET it. Do NOT treat me like the untrained monkey in your test kitchens. Puh—leaze! There is no apology in this for the multitude of people you adversely affected, no explanation of your planned “adult” policy. Don’t even try to tell me there wasn’t some part of this that wasn’t planned. To whoever, in whatever God capacity they reign, wherever they reside, this is a huge #AmazonFail. Your “error” is not an apology nor an explanation.

Keep trying Amazon. Maybe eventually you’ll understand that people, like gee, I don’t know–us with the money–can shop elsewhere. I don’t need you. Never have.
